You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Full-time, day shift.
