Wet plasterer — Tompkins County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Tompkins County, New York. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Rotating shifts.
