What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; read lift plans and method statements before starting; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
