Semi-automatic welder — Sullivan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Sullivan County, Indiana. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
