Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Floyd County, Kentucky. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors On a typical shift you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam.
