Die-casting operator — Wirt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Wirt County, West Virginia. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
