Baker wanted in Milwaukee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
