Immediate opening: we are hiring a bench joiner in Herkimer County, New York. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. You will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
