Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile roofer in Scott County, Illinois. The job is at a busy roofing firm. On a typical shift you will install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
