Overlocker operator wanted in Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Jefferson County, West Virginia. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
