Pipe TIG welder — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Scott County, Kentucky. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
