Shakeout operator — McCulloch County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in McCulloch County, Texas. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
