Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
