Single needle operator — Gwarzo

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Gwarzo, Kano State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 4+ years on the tools preferred.
