Fire and safety officer — Jalingo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Jalingo, Taraba State. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
