Urgent requirement: core maker (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Alpena County, Michigan. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together.
