Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Colfax County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
