Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Own set of hand tools The role involves: • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair 3+ years on the tools preferred.
