Finishing presser — Richmond County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Richmond County, Georgia. You will work at a dry cleaner's. The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
