Rebar fixer wanted in Emanuel County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Emanuel County, Georgia. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Rotating shifts.
