Trowel-trade bricklayer — Pipestone County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Pipestone County, Minnesota. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
