Gas appliance installer • Scioto County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Scioto County, Ohio. You will work at a busy gas installation company. You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
