Retail butcher — Summit County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Summit County, Utah. The job is at a wholesale meat market. On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
