Heavy equipment operator — Cattaraugus County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Cattaraugus County, New York. The job is at a road and highway construction project. The role involves swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Rotating shifts.
