Trowel-trade bricklayer — Coffee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Coffee County, Georgia. You will work at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel.
