Cold room technician — Calhoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Calhoun County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Performance bonus on top of base pay.
