You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence The role involves: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Refuel the machine and record running hours 2+ years on the tools preferred.
