Furniture maker — Johnson County

Join our team: we are hiring a furniture maker in Johnson County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
