Injection moulding machine operator — Logan County

Now hiring: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in Logan County, Illinois. The job is in a textile mill. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Day to day you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; set up and start the machine as per the job card; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
