Machinist — Somerset County

Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Somerset County, Maryland. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
