Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Starke County, Indiana. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
