Flatlock machine operator • Rijau, Niger State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Rijau, Niger State. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
