Refrigeration field service technician — Lyman County

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Lyman County, South Dakota. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day-to-day duties: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge 2+ years on the tools preferred.
