Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Takum, Taraba State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
