Turning centre operator — Johnston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Johnston County, North Carolina. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
