Painter — Anchorage Municipality

Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. The job is on a residential building site. On a typical shift you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
