Vacancy available: trainee butcher (Rivers State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Omumma, Rivers State. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate The role involves: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Season and marinate meat on request 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
