Immediate opening: tracked excavator operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Buncombe County, North Carolina. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
