Tile mason — Amite County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile mason in Amite County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day to day you will mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
