Steel fixer — White County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in White County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
