We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
