We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cullman County, Alabama. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
