Pastry baker wanted in Bedford County

Join our team: we are hiring a pastry baker in Bedford County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
