Confectioner — Jasper County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Jasper County, Illinois. You will work in a bread factory. On the job you will handle: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Score the top of loaves before baking • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 3+ years on the tools preferred.
