Escalator technician — Butler County

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Butler County, Iowa. You will work in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
