Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble polisher in Laurens County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone Day-to-day duties: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
