Trowel-trade bricklayer — Lee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Lee County, Alabama. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 5+ years on the tools preferred.
