Refrigeration technician — Starke County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Starke County, Indiana. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. On a typical shift you will trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
