Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Washington County, Indiana. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. You will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Part-time with flexible hours.
