Press operator — Arkansas County

Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Arkansas County, Arkansas. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
